I've always loved aquariums, no matter what kind. Just looking at the water and plants in a glass tank -looking at the wild- is fascinating to me. Paper aquariums, Crochet aquariums, tiny origami aquariums.

Crocheted Coral Reef
This coral reef is not your usual coral reef. It is not alive nor is it dead. It is made out of yarn, beads, and other similar materials. Even though it is not an alive coral reef, it has just as vibrant colors as any one. Many people worked long and hard on this reef of porportionte size. Find out more about this wonderful reef at http://crochetcoralreef.org/

Animal Art- Elephants
Elephants can paint. They can paint self portraits and still life. It is amazing how these giant creatures can create such beauty. Artists, Komar and Melamid, opened an elephant art academy to teach elephants to paint after a law was put in place that left many elephants without a livelihood. An 8 year old female named Hong can paint elephants holding flowers and the Thai flag. Another elephant, a 5 year old male likes to paint squiggly lines on his canvas. learn more about the artists Komar and Melamid and about the elephant art at http://www.inspirationline.com/rss/30JUN2008.htm
